Iron Sleet takes place on the fictional world of Currakil, a world plagued by Chaotic magic. The planet is constantly affected by magical storms, dangerous creatures, and other effects that make life on Currakil difficult. The amount of safe and stable places on Currakil are few and far between, requiring the residents to adapt to their surroundings.

At one time magic was calm and easily controlled by those who wished to learn its secrets, but those times are long gone. The only way the residents of Currakil have been able to harness magic is through specialized runes crafted by skilled individuals. Devices that use runes are referred to as Runetech and have allowed communities to thrive in this hostile world.

We now reach the modern day where materials and resources are contested by powerful countries and organizations. Despite the size of these countries the populations are rather small and wars have become limited affairs. Thus entered the age of mercenaries disposable, expendable, and deniable armed forces. Many who feel the call of combat or enjoy the hazard pay join a mercenary company and fight on the battlefields of the modern age.

Iron Sleet is a tactical espionage and special ops rpg based in the Shattered Continent Setting. Players take on the role of special operators that are a part of a Country or Mercenary organization. The players’ characters are trained and equipped to take on missions too difficult, too specialized, or too risky for the regular armed forces. Good luck and have fun.
